BALTIMORE, Maryland, July 1 -- Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on June 30, 2022:
U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), a senior member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court ruling in West Virginia v. EPA that prohibits the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from broadly regulating greenhouse gas emissions from power plants under the Clean Air Act.
