WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Congressman John Moolenaar offered an amendment that would prohibit the State Department from using taxpayer funding to stop the flow of energy through the Line 5 pipeline. Moolenaar offered the amendment during the House Appropriations Committee's annual debate on funding for the State Department in the next federal budget.
The amendment was supported by all the Republicans . . .
