BETHESDA, Maryland, June 25 -- Public Citizen issued the following news release on June 24, 2022:
Advocates today called on insurer American International Group Inc. (NYSE: AIG) to "stop teeing up climate chaos" at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship held at Congressional Country Club. The protest of AIG, a tournament sponsor, demanded that the international insurer end its support for fossil fuel expansion.
