TUCSON, Arizona, June 24 (TNStalk) -- The University of Arizona issued the following news release:
Since the start of 2022, nearly 32,000 wildfires have burned over 3.2 million acres in the United States, according to the National Interagency Fire Center.
Experts warn that throughout the summer, much of the Western United States will need to brace for a higher-than-average risk of wildfires, although Arizona's risk is expected to fall to about average after June.
