WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Rep. Dave Joyce, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on June 23, 2022:

This week, Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) joined Congressman Ken Buck (CO-04) in introducing the Stop Pills That Kill Act. This legislation would implement new penalties for counterfeit pill production. The bill comes in the wake of the deaths of two Ohio State University (OSU) students, Tiffany Iler and Jessica Lopez, who overdosed on counterfeit Adderall pills laced with fentanyl.
