Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md). joined Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen and Congressmen Steny H. Hoyer, Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, Kweisi Mfume, Anthony G. Brown, Jamie B. Raskin and David Trone (all D-Md.) in announcing $41,636,405 in federal funding for Head Start programs across the state to expand early learning, development, health services and family well-being.
