WASHINGTON, June 22 -- Rep. Elaine Luria, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on June 21, 2022:
House Armed Services Committee Vice Chair Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA) and Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) introduced a $37 billion amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) today to increase defense spending, increase purchasing power for our armed forces, and provide additional resources to assist the Navy in countering the threats we face around the world.
