LANSING, Michigan, June 9 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release and letter on June 8, 2022:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer today requested that President Joe Biden declare a major disaster for Otsego County following an EF-3 tornado last month. The request comes at the conclusion of an in-depth assessment of damage to the area.
