WASHINGTON, June 7 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Business and Industry Loan Guarantees program has awarded a $2,341,000 loan to GTL Lumber, Inc. in Lawrence County to help purchase real estate and sawmill equipment. This funding is expected to help save 20 jobs and create 10 new jobs.
