WASHINGTON, June 7 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC), Jon Tester (D-MT), and Maggie Hassan (D-NH), members of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, urged the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to cut red tape on its volunteer driver certification process, also known as the Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN), to assist veterans traveling to and from health care appointments.
