PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, June 3 (TNSper) -- Gov. Daniel J. McKee, D-Rhode Island, issued the following news release:

Governor Dan McKee is sharing the news that Dr. James McDonald, MD, MPH, will be stepping down as the Interim Director at the Department of Health so that he can focus on emerging healthcare needs of his family. Dr. McDonald's last day of State service will be July 29, 2022. He will continue as Interim Director while the Governor identifies a successor.
