BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, June 2 -- Rep. Troy Carter, D-Louisiana, issued the following news release on June 1, 2022:

Congressman Troy A Carter Sr., alongside Governor Jon Bel Edwards, Southern University Chairman Edwin Shorty, and Southern University President-Chancellor Ray Belton, announced $7.62 million in funding for the Southern University Ravine Protection project in East Baton Rouge Parish.
