OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, June 2 -- Sen. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release and letter on June 1, 2022:
Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Steve Daines (R-MT), today led a letter with 46 other pro-life senators to send a unified message to Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer pledging that they will vote to block any bill that would undermine the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits taxpayer funding for abortion, or any other pro-life protections.
