GREENSBORO, North Carolina, May 28 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina issued the following news release on May 27, 2022:
A North Carolina man pleaded guilty today to a felony charge for his actions during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His and others' actions disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the presidential election.
