WASHINGTON, May 28 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has awarded grants to 20 colleges, universities, and organizations in Ohio, totaling $10,817,442, to fund each institution's Upward Bound Program for five years, from 2022-2027. This funding will allow these institutions to provide fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance . . .
