WASHINGTON, May 27 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Rob Portman (R-OH) led a bipartisan group of senators in sending a letter to President Biden urging him not to lift the Section 301 tariffs, which currently target China and their illegal and unfair trade practices. The letter urges the Biden administration not to lift the tariffs, a policy position long advocated for by the Chinese Communist Party. . . .
