WASHINGTON, May 27 -- Rep. Harold Rogers, R-Kentucky, issued the following news release:
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo announced that the Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $5 million grant to the city of Hazard, Kentucky, for construction of a new water treatment plant and ancillary infrastructure. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan and EDA's $300 million Coal Communities Commitment.
