WASHINGTON, May 25 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release and letter:
U.S. Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) joined a group of her colleagues in sending a letter urging the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health, and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies to prioritize Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) funding in its Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 appropriations bill and put the program on a path to double in funding in five years.< . . .
