BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, May 18 (TNSper) -- Louisiana State University issued the following news release:

LSU has named Roy Haggerty, currently dean of the College of Science and Professor of Environmental Geology at Oregon State University, as the next executive vice president and provost. Haggerty will begin at LSU on Aug. 1, pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.
