WASHINGTON, May 13 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following document from the Economics Daily:
Labor productivity rose in 47 of 86 manufacturing industries in 2021. The railroad rolling stock industry had the largest productivity gain, 20.6 percent. Four out of the five mining industries posted productivity gains in 2021, with the greatest increase occurring in coal mining, 18.3 percent.
