WASHINGTON, May 10 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) joined a bipartisan group of colleagues in introducing legislation to implement new penalties for counterfeit pill production. Recently, there has been a surge in counterfeit pills laced with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and fentanyl analogues.
