HARTFORD, Connecticut, May 5 -- The Connecticut Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair Nancy DiNardo on the draft Supreme Court decision that would overturn Roe vs. Wade:

"The very real probability that the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade is a death sentence for women in Connecticut and across the country. Making abortion illegal doesn't make it go away; it makes it more dangerous, and in many cases, deadly.
