AUSTIN, Texas, April 29 (TNSPer) -- The Texas A&M Forest Service issued the following news on April 28, 2022:
Mark D. Stanford, Associate Director for Forest Resource Protection and Fire Chief of Texas A&M Forest Service, is retiring after 43 years of service to the State of Texas.
Stanford began his career with Texas A&M Forest Service in 1979 as a forester and served in six other positions, including chief of fire operations.
