WASHINGTON, April 27 -- Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Oklahoma, issued the following news release:
Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) introduced a bill to impose harsher punishment for those who perform partial birth abortions. The "Partial Birth Abortion is Murder Act" would increase the punishment for those found in violation of the Partial Birth Abortion Act of 2003 to a minimum of five years to a maximum of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
