LANSING, Michigan, April 27 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer joined U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo to announce that the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians has been awarded $1 million from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to support economic development strategies for the Tribe. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan Indigenous Communities program.
