WASHINGTON, April 19 -- The Senate Budget Committee issued the following testimony by Michael Faulkender, professor of finance at the University of Maryland, involving a hearing on April 5, 2022, entitled "Corporate Profits are Soaring as Prices Rise: Are Corporate Greed and Profiteering Fueling Inflation?".
Faulkender was also the assistant secretary for economic policy at the Treasury Department.
