TRENTON, New Jersey, April 19 -- Gov. Phil Murphy, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on April 18, 2022:

Governor Phil Murphy, Acting Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin, and New Jersey State Police Superintendent Colonel Patrick Callahan today announced that two classes of New Jersey State Police (NJSP) troopers will commence in Fiscal Year 2023 (FY2023) to help bolster the ranks of the State Police and allow the Division to meet critical law enforcement and emergency . . .
