AUGUSTA, Maine, April 14 -- The Maine House Democrats issued the following news release:

Gov. Janet Mills recently signed into law LD 225, a bill that requires employees to receive their accrued vacation pay upon cessation of their employment, sponsored by Rep. Amy Roeder, D-Bangor.

The law, which will go into effect 90 days after the current session of the 130th Legislature adjourns, requires employers to pay employees unused accrued vacation time upon the cessation of . . .
