CHICAGO, Illinois, April 14 (TNSJou) -- The University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Public Health issued the following news:

Silica exposure is a driving force behind rising rates of coal workers' pneumoconiosis, according to a new study published by occupational health experts at the UIC School of Public Health and their collaborators.

The study is the first to compare the pathology and mineralogy of the disease, which is commonly called black lung dise . . .
