WASHINGTON, April 6 -- Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux, D-Georgia, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07) announced Georgia will receive $1.5 billion dollars for investing in buses, trains, and other public transportation from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), frequently called the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Georgia will receive $280,399,000 this year, with the remaining funding being allocated over the next five years.
