MONTGOMERY, Alabama, April 5 -- The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs issued the following news release:
Gov. Kay Ivey has announced a $200,000 grant to revitalize one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Jasper.
The funds from the Appalachian Regional Commission will be combined with a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant awarded in January by Gov. Ivey. The two grants will be used to replace vital infrastructure, remove blight and instal . . .
