Va. Environmental Quality Dept. Begins Tidewater Air Quality Study

RICHMOND, Virginia, April 2 -- The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received more than half a million dollars - $526,603 - from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to investigate air quality related to coal dust in two historic Tidewater communities.
