MARLBOROUGH, Massachusetts, April 1 -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release:

Drinking water, groundwater and surface water, and soil throughout the Northeast have been discovered to be significantly impacted by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in the past several years. More than 500 government officials, scientists, consultants, businesses, vendors and non-governmental organizations will gather in Marlborou . . .
