WASHINGTON, April 1 -- Rep. Alex Mooney, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
This week, President Joe Biden released his proposed budget for FY2023. For the second year in a row, his Far-Left spending agenda leaves out the Hyde Amendment. The Hyde Amendment is a longtime bipartisan policy that bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortion.
The Hyde Amendment has saved the lives of more than 2.4 million unborn children in the United States.
