U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin and Congressmen Dutch Ruppersberger, John Sarbanes, and Kweisi Mfume (all D-Md.) announced that the Bear Creek Sediments site - adjacent to Sparrows Point - has been added to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund National Priorities List.
