WASHINGTON, March 22 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced a $865,800 investment to the Village of Ripley through the Appalachian Regional Commission's (ARC) Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative. This will allow the Village to fund the Freedom Landing Boat Dock Project to construct a 300-foot, two-tier boat landing and launch ramp on the Ohio River.
