WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Rep. Rick Allen, R-Georgia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Congressmen Rick W. Allen (GA-12) and Andy Barr (KY-06) introduced the Ensuring Sound Guidance (ESG) Act to enhance protections for investors' retirement accounts and preserve access to capital for energy producers. This legislation codifies parts of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) rule under the Trump Administration that required investment advisors to consider only monetary factors . . .
