WASHINGTON, March 15 -- Sen. Raphael G. Warnock, D-Georgia, issued the following news release on March 14, 2022:
U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Jon Ossoff (D-GA) secured over $500,000 to upgrade Georgia school buses.
The funding will replace 21 diesel-fueled school buses across Cobb, Dodge, and Fulton Counties with buses that meet updated emissions standards, reducing air pollution and ensuring Georgia students can get to and from school safely.
