WASHINGTON, March 15 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) recently joined a bipartisan group of 30 senators in requesting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalize its proposed rule to stop all retroactive direct and indirect remuneration (DIR) fees. This provision is expected to reduce seniors' out-of-pocket prescription drug costs by $21.3 billion over 10 y . . .
