CHARLESTON, West Virginia, March 15 (TNSPol) -- The Center for Biological Diversity issued the following news release on March 14, 2022:
Following a petition and lawsuit by the Center for Biological Diversity, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service today designated 446 stream miles of critical habitat for the Big Sandy and Guyandotte River crayfish in West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia.
"These unique crawdads exist nowhere else in the world and would soon be snuffed . . .
