Sens. Manchin, Capito Announce 5 New AmeriCorps Projects in West Virginia

WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release on March 11, 2022:

U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) today announced the deployment of five new AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) teams to West Virginia. The teams will serve the West Virginia towns of Fairmont, Thomas, Mullens, Gandeeville and Elkview through projects that include tax preparation, park and river clean-ups and rural infrastruc . . .
