191 days after SB 8 became law in Texas, the Republican-led Texas Supreme Court ruled that private citizens can continue to take legal action against those seeking abortion care within state lines. At present, most Texans seeking abortion have no choice but to travel hundreds - if not thousands - of miles out of state to exercise their well-established right to an abortion.
