WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Virginia, issued the following news release:

U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger -- a former federal law enforcement officer -- today backed bipartisan legislation that would combat fentanyl distribution in Virginia by permanently scheduling all current and future fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs.
