WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release:

U.S. Senators Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) recently joined a bipartisan group of 30 senators in requesting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) finalize its proposed rule to stop all retroactive direct and indirect remuneration (DIR) fees. This provision is expected to reduce seniors' out-of-pocket prescription drug costs by $21.3 bi . . .
