WASHINGTON, March 10 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, issued the following statement applauding President Biden's announcement to ban Russian energy imports following the invasion of Ukraine:
