WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on March 4, 2022:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded a $62.3 million grant to the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) to help replace revenue that was lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Southeast Ohioans can continue to have the safe and reliable bus service they need to get to work and school and doctors' appointment . . .
