WASHINGTON, March 5 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, announced West Virginia will receive $18,480,441 in Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 to reclaim abandoned mine lands (AML). This is in addition to the $140,751,000 FY 2022 investment from Senator Manchin's bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act announced in February.
