RALEIGH, North Carolina, March 5 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following news:
The N.C. Republican Party applauds the federal court for rejecting the State Board's attempt to subvert the rule of law to allow a purely partisan challenge to a candidate.
The N.C. State Board of Elections does not have the authority to disqualify congressional candidates in this manner.
