MONTPELIER, Vermont, Feb. 28 (TNSPol) -- The Vermont Democratic Party issued the following news release:
On Tuesday morning, former Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney Christina Nolan announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate. A Republican, Nolan joins the race at a time when the U.S. Senate faces a 50/50 split, with Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris as the deciding vote in the event of a tie.
