University of Arizona Will Increase Support for Hispanic and Low-Income STEM Students With $5M Grant

TUCSON, Arizona, Feb. 24 (TNSOps) -- The University of Arizona issued the following news release:

The University of Arizona will be able to support more students - especially those who are Hispanic or from low-income households - studying science, technology, engineering and math, thanks to a nearly $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

The grant will establish Project CREAR, which stands for Culturally Responsive Engagement, Articulation and Research. . . .
